"No they wouldn't! No one would like me!" Riley said loudly, trying to contain his anger. He then turned his head around and stared at Basil's face. Now he understood why Gavriil didn't like him at all. "Stop getting involved in this, goodness!" He said, clenching his fists and stomping his foot on the ground. Riley knew he couldn't be strong, and he hated when people reminded him. All he wanted to do was storm off, but he couldn't leave Gavriil. He even knew that Apollo thought that he was weak. Riley then looked up at Gavriil and sighed. "Okay..."

"No, Basil..." Gavriil said to Basil. Gavriil looked back at Riley. "Riley, you are very sweet and kind person, why would no one like you? And how would you know if you never even tried before..." he said sweetly to him. He just wanted Riley to try, because he knows that Riley could make a lot of friends, and have fun with them, if he really wanted to. He stared at Riley. "I-I didn't mean shut up, I ment please be quiet..." he said softly.

"Well, I have noting to whip my snot on..." He looks at Riley then turns back and looks at Gavrill "I change my mind I don't want to help Riley and I don't want to be his friend, I already have 3 kinda friends anyways, I don't need him." Basil says

"I can just assume that no one would..." Riley mumbled under his breath. He started to get annoyed that no one was understanding the concept of him not wanting other friends. At least that Gavriil was being sweet to him. He then heard Gavriil apologize to him and he smiled. "It's okay Gavi..." Riley then turned his head around and faced Basil. "I didn't want you to be my friend anyway you hillbilly!"

Gavriil felt sick after hearing Basil say stuff about his snot. Bleh, gross Basil. " Mkg... That's nice.. I guess.." he said quietly. He looked at Riley and just gave him a little smile. Then he heard Riley snap at Basil, his eyes widened. He never heard Riley that get mad before. It was... weird. "Chto v mire!?" he yelled loudly. Ouch, his head started to hurt. But he ignored it. He wanted to see Basil cry.

Basil looked at Riley only a little upset "Now I can't wait to see the day Gavrill has to leave you behind cause your week, I want to see you stay home crying about feeling lonely." He looked at Gavrill crying a little "Tell your child to start using his manners you no, please, thank you and, Im sorry." he then looks back to Riley "By the way, I would rather be a hillbilly than a mole any day."

Riley pressed himself close to Gavriil, and as he heard Basil begin to make fun of him he started to cry. "G-Gavriil would never leave me behind!" He said, stuffing his face into Gavriil's chest and sobbing quietly. He then heard Basil call him a mole, and feeling that it was an insult and not a complement he started to sob louder.

Everyone around Gavriil was crying! He didn't know what to do. First, he decided to hold onto Riley lightly and pat the back of his head. "I won't leave you, Riley. And you're a cute molʹ!" he said. He was assuming that Riley knew what he said, because mol' and mole sounded very similar. Then he looked at Basil. "Stop being rude and stop whining and crying! All you're doing is making yourself look like a total ass! And Riley too! No offense Riley." he said. He just thought that people crying looked like asses.

"Im not whining or being rude! Riley is the one being rude, I was trying to be nice to him earlier and he wouldn't talk to me, I give him advice and he says its all wrong, then he makes fun of me and I make fun of him back and now he is trying to make me look like that Im the bad guy, I don't think that is fair. And don't tell me to stop crying cause I can't help it, Ive always cried a lot. You would probably cry more if you didn't have a best friend and always felt lonely!" Basil says and looks away

Riley felt Gavriil hold onto him and pat the back of his head and smiled. That always made him feel better. "T-thank you Gavi...and I am?" He said happily, hearing the only word in Russian he knew. He pushed his head further into Gavriil's chest and tried to ignore Basil the best that he could. Riley knew that Basil was just making excuses. "Mph..."

Gavriil frowned at Basil's comment. After hearing that, he didn't really know whose side he was on. He looked back and forth between Riley and Basil. His eyes landed on Basil. "I-I'm sorry to hear that, Basil.." he said quietly. He really didn't know what to do at this point. He looked at Riley. "Your welcome.. and yes.." he said. He felt so bad for Basil right now, he had nothing really to say.

Basil still refuses to look back over since he did feel hurt, and didn't want to really show Gavrill. "Im sorry, Im just greedy for wanting a friend that comes to me first, if I don't deserve one, I shouldn't have one..." He looks over at Gavrill "Are you really my friend, or do you just tolerate me...cause if you just tolerate me Ill leave you alone" Basil says

Riley closed his eyes and breathed softly, knowing that everyone felt awkward and he didn't want to stir everything up again. All he wanted to do was just go home and snuggle with his mole plushie at this point. "Having friends is really stressful..." Riley mumbled, grabbing a handful of Gavriil's shirt and hoping that he wasn't mad at him.

"Y-you are my friend Basil!" Gavriil said to Basil. "Sometimes you can be a drag, but that doesn't mean that you're not my friend.." he said. Then he looked at Riley. "How do you know how stressful it is to have friends? You never give anyone a chance to meet you or socialize with you.. I don't want you to only have me as a friend, because.. b-because you deserve more than anyone else.." he said quietly, sighing a little afterwards. He kicked the dirt on the ground lightly.

Basil smiled a little, "Thanks...I think" Basil looked to the ground and mumbled to himself "though you do like riley better..." he looked back up and listened to Gavrill talk to Riley. He really had nothing to say for once since he was still mad at Riley.

"Well right now it's pretty stressful..." Riley said softly. He closed his eyes, and a few moments later his wings popped out of his back and wrapped around himself. "I only want you as a friend though!" Riley whispered. "...Can we just drop the whole thing about me trying to be social now? I really hate talking about it..."

"Your welcome.. I guess..." Gavriil responded to Basil. His and Basil's conversations usually never end or they die awkwardly. He looked back at Riley. He sighed a little at his comment about it being stressful, because it actually is sometimes. "There are better friends then me out there, Riley! You could probably find someone way more fun and nice than me.." he told him, which was true. He looked back at Basil. "Why aren't you talking? You usually have something rude to say by now!" he said, which was also true.

Basil gives Gavrill a fake smile "umm..." Basil stops and think for a little bit trying to come up with a way to answer Gavrills questions "Its just that...Im happy were friends and...and and umm what is there to make fun of right now." Basil says and gives a fake laugh trying to act happy though he was still kinda upset

"Probably not!" Riley said, rubbing his head around in Gavriil's chest. "Do you even know why I don't like other people much Gavi? I guess I never told you this before..." He mumbled, as his wings flapped around on his back. The little feathers on them started to fall off as well, since once a year they came off to make room for new ones. "Make fun of me..." He whispered under his breath, hoping that no one heard that.

Gavriil just listened to Basil, not really having anything to say to him, because he really had no idea what he was even talking about, so he just responded to him with a "Uh-huh..." and looked at Riley slowly. "No, you never told me.." he told him. Now he was really interested. He was hoping it was, like, something with a tragic past! Like people stabbed him and it was a bloody and fun! Gavriil loves that stuff..

"Yeah...I just have nothing to talk about..." he said. Basil kept smiling until Gavrill looked away, he then frowned. He watched Gavrill talk to Riley and waited to listen in on Rileys past. He doubts Rileys past was that traumatizing since Riley acted like a little Baby all the time at this age, the fact that this is his past means he must have acted even more like a baby if thats even possible.

Riley sighed sadly and grabbed onto more of Gavriil's shirt. "W-well...when I was little I didn't have many friends as you could probably guess. So when people wanted to play with me it made me really happy!" Riley began. "So one time I was playing alone outside when a few kids came up to me and offered to play. I happily agreed, and I went over with them to where they were all playing. So we sat there for a while and I started to play with my toys, but after a while no one really said anything, which was weird because when people play most people laugh and do all that stuff. My only responce was to just ask if anyone was still there, but there was no answer..." He said sadly as he started to sniffle. "So I just sat there and played by myself until it was nighttime and someone came to get me...and this even happened more than once! ...I guess people found it funny for me to be the only kid sitting down and playing by themselves..."

"Well, then listen to Riley's story and comment on it.." Gavriil told Basil as he began to listen to Riley's story. It was pretty sad, but it did kind of disappoint him that there was no stabbing or shooting involved in the story, but it was still sad! He didn't really know what to say to the sad blind boy, so he just kind of stroked his hair and said "Aww.. I'm sorry to hear that Riley.. I'll never leave you.." He continued to keep comforting him as he looked at Basil, hoping that he wouldn't make fun of Riley or do something stupid.

"okay" he says to Gavrill. Basil listened to the story, though it was sad he was kind of unmoved by it. He started playing with his hair "cool story..." Basil says not really wanting to make fun of Riley cause he knows he is just gonna go cry to Gavrill and not stand up for himself. Basil looks at Gavrill "I bet your past is more interesting..." he says just cause he wanted to say something

"I-it's okay..." Riley said sadly, closing his eyes and trying not to cry again. "I'm just scared that other people are just gonna do the same with me again like they did before..." He whispered. Hearing Gavriil say that he would never leave him made him feel a bit better. "Thank you..." But after hearing that Basil could care less about him being sad, all he wanted to do was lunge at him and scratch his eyes out. Of course he would never do it though.
